We are a happy, forward looking Church of England village primary school which is always ‘aiming high’, to provide an exciting, safe and engaging learning environment for our children and to ensure they become confident, successful learners.
Our excellent staff team work hard together to ensure that this outstanding school (Ofsted 2006 and Ofsted 2009) continues its journey of school improvement, bringing challenging and engaging learning for all our pupils.
Our close ties with St John’s Church and our caring Christian ethos supports the high priority we give to pupils’ personal development and reflects our commitment to every child being valued and developed to achieve their full potential emotionally, socially, physically as well as academically.
Our school is situated in attractive grounds behind Lemsford Church. It has a large playground with a variety of play equipment and a large playing field. We have a conservation area and visiting wildlife enrich the outdoor environment.
The catchment area draws children from Lemsford, Stanborough, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and the surrounding areas.
